The GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic Book is an annual award that honors writers for excellent depictions of LGBT characters or themes in comics and graphic novels. The works nominated are evaluated by four criteria: fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBT community; boldness and originality; significant impact on mainstream culture; and overall quality.
