The Eagles were an UK Award named after a popular anthology comic of the same name and winners were chosen by fans. During the 1990's this award went dormant and was supplicated by the UK Comics Art Awards from 1990-1997 and from 1997-2003 National Comics Award. In 2014 in coorelation with Stan Lee they were renamed the True Believer Comics Award but has not returned since then.
