Access Huntsville, a free mobile app compatible with both iPhone and Android systems, is available for all certified Access clients to make trip reservations and track rides in “real-time.”

When vehicles are available, we match them with families who have dependent children in their household to allow parents the ability to travel to and from work, school and medical appointments.

Community Action Partnership Huntsville/Madison & Limestone Counties, Inc. (CAPHMLC) assists eligible individuals with the cost of transportation tickets to attend life sustaining medical appointments through local public transportation providers.

Huntsville’s bus system, Orbit, operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access Paratransit service is still operating 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturdays.

RIDE UNITED helps primarily with short-term transportation to pre-employment appointments (like fingerprinting, drug screenings, final interviews, etc.) and the first weeks of a job.
