Reader's Advisory: Horror!

Seeking something spooky? Hankering for horror? Look no further!

Even if it's not fall, there's never a bad time to curl up with a tale of terror...be it an old favorite or trying something new. In addition to books, this guide also features some great audio books that bring a whole new level to your experience. This guide features selections from our catalog to showcase some of our favorite examples of Halloween spookiness for the young and horror for older audiences! The following pages are broken down by age starting with Children featuring picture and board books, moving on to Juvenile featuring chapter books, to Teen and Adult offerings across many different formats.

Using this guide

The main tabs of the guide are the different age ranges for items in our collection, clicking any of the tabs will take you to a landing page with some of my favorite or most popular reads of the respective collection as well as a peak from some of the new to the catalog items. From the main tabs there is a drop down list of specific categories in the age range of your choosing (i.e. fiction, non-fiction, ect).
