Educator Resources

The library has moved to a new catalog system is more intuitive and user friendly, unfortunately this means the migration will break all of the previous links in our libguides and blogs referencing links to books in our old system. Materials in this guide are broken up by subject and further by grade level. Materials are listed first by suggested grade level (when applicable) and then by Dewey Decimal number. In the description of each entry the recommended grade level will be listed at the top when applicable along with other special stipulations:

• *Workbook* - denotes a a book of worksheets that may be copied from the book.
• *Kit* - denotes a resource made up of multiple parts (i.e. a book, CD, DVD, ect).
• *Replicables* - denotes stencils, crafts, decorations and other visual aids that may be reproduced. 
• *Seasonal* - denotes resources specifically tailored for certain seasons or holidays. 

Grade Ranges:

• Early Childhood/Pre-Kindergarten
• Kindergarten
• Elementary School (Grades 1-5)
• Middle School (Grades 6-8)

At the Downtown Branch of the Huntsville Madison County Public Library we have an ever-growing Teacher Resource Center to cater to educators, located in the Youth Services Department to the right-hand side near the Young Adult Area it features books, audio books and DVD's.
