All Students should read To Kill a Mockingbird. There is a project, quiz, essay, and test on all of the summer reading material.  PreAP students have a second reading assignment in choosing one of the following titles:

Students will choose one of the following novels over the summer, choose one of the projects (details can be found under the "school projects" tab) to complete and turn in on the first day, and write a brief paragraph about what grade they think they deserve for the project and why.
